article with set expression

There are many set expressions that require the definite article (the point is), the indefinite article (keep an eye on), or no article (head over heels). These expressions are idiomatic, so they don’t follow a particular pattern. 

Incorrect A trouble is that I forgot what I was supposed to buy.
Correct The trouble is that I forgot what I was supposed to buy.

Incorrect Firefighters have to be ready at the moment’s notice.
Correct Firefighters have to be ready at a moment’s notice.

Incorrect Get ready to have a time of your life!
Correct Get ready to have the time of your life!
