what is the opposite of love?

This is my own answer.
Hatred is not the opposite of love.
Fear, the fear of not being love, is not the opposite of love.
Indifference is the opposite of love.
Hatred and fear are still emtions to be aroused or stimulated. Hatred and fear are still energy, even negative energy.
Indifference have no emotion involoved. Indifference implies no energey.
A life without energy .... it is called death ....

This is my own answer.

• unconditonal accept my true self and other people's true selves
• know myself and others the way they are
• do not project my own stuff on others and let others be their true selves
• do not introject what others project on me and be who I truely am
• no manipuation, no judgement, no shame

what a faculty can do for a student

I found some students discuss online about how the professors' thoughts influence how the students think. It seems like some faculties impose their thoughts upon students to make students to think in the same way as how the faculties think. For example, if the professor is liberal, he or she tries to make students to think in a liberal way. Well......myself think that the job of a faculty is to assist students to find their own ways of thinking, to help students to become who they really are, to know how to think themselves..........
That is, students are independent human beings different from the faculties. The professor himself or herself has his or her own ways of seeing life and living his or her life. The student as an independent human being has the freedome and right to decide how to think.

book: one becoming a person by Carl Rogers

I really love this book. Many friends have told me that they feel confused about who they are and try to discuss with therpists to find the answers. This book teaches therapists how to talk and help patients to find who he/she is in order to become who he/she really is. Carl Rogers believe that the patient is capable of knowing who he is. The function of the therapist is to help the patient to find out who is he that the patient already know, but is incapable of clearly knowing that he know who he is. I am kind of agreeing with his point of view. I don't like people to tell me who I am. I don't even really know who I am. How can I trust others to know myself more than myself. Also, people are just human beings. Human beings have their shadow issues to project their own stuff upon others.What they have told me may be their own projections. My life can't afford to be a reflection of others' projections. So, I need to find the answers myself.

data collection for the mosquito and work performance research question

I got the data set for the research question--- does the number of mosquito influene the work perfomance?

One master student was asked to collect the data. I now have a data set to run a time series model.

August 24-- no mosquito found in the office
August 25-- 2 mosquito caught and killed put one fly
August 26-- the master student took a break, no one tried to catch the mosquito, this is coded as missing data
August 27-- no mosquito
August 28--no mosquito
August 29 (Sat)-- holiday, no one tried to catch the mosquito
August 30 (Sun)-- holiday, no one tried to catch the mosquito
.................................... the master student is continuing to collect data

in order to run a time serier model, I need a sufficient sample size.......

We didn't apply for IRB review. We killed the reseach subject --- the mosquito, in order to participate in our research project, the mosquito has to die.....

My supervisor raised a reseach question and asked one master student to conduct the research in the office.

Reseach question: what is the relationship between the number of mosquito and work effectiveness?

Research method: the master student is asked to count and catch the mosquito in the office to see whether killing mosquito increase work performance
